I have purchased a new scanner because Canon is not going to support my Lide 50 under Snow Leopard.
The scanner is in perfect working condition and clean. It works fine under OS 10.5. Anyone who wants it may have it for FREE! Call: 214-236-5714.

I used to have an Epson and found their software easy to use. I will look at them. Anyone want a gently used scanner - I'll be pleased to donate it.

Check out the Epsons. Be sure the drivers are there for Snow Leopard first.
I have been using a CANON Lide 50 with my Macs. I have just been informed by Canon that they will not have a driver for that scanner for Snow Leopard. I do not do a lot of scanning - mostly copying documents. What do you suggest for 'reasonable' (...
I FOUND IT!! Have to go thre a couple Print commands - but eventual it does appear. Thanks John.

However nothing like "scale to paper" shoes up on my Print command. I am using a Cannon Pixma4200 printer. Possibly I'm not looking in the right place? Any other suggestion? Martin
