I was told by a "manufacturing company" of the mouse, that most stores would not have it for about a week and a half. The first we would see of it is what is bundled with the new iMacs.

Unfortunately, I've got this Sony CX100 camcorder, and as pretty as the video looks, you know, of course the files are a mess to work with Sony's software, unless I'm on a Windows machine. I'd love to be able to edit in the latest IMovie, but alas...

How do you pretend to work?

Post how you pretend to work here.

Me, you ask!? I pretend to work by having lots of windows open at the same time and using Expose to switch back and forth between them. As far as my boss knows, I'm multitasking. :)

Braid for Mac

Now the school is out for me, I have the summer time to work on projects, get ahead, and most importantly, play video games.

I don't have a whole lot of games on my Mac because I usually play games on consoles like the Wii and Playstation 3. (note I don't own a Microsoft XBox :D ) However, I came across a game that was recently ported to Mac. It's called Braid and, well... let me allow the trailer to do the talking.

Pretty neat, huh? It play like a traditio… Continue

The Apple Corps social network site has been updated to reflect one or two grammatical errors.

This message has been brought to you by the letter "S". As in, "I'm a member of the Dallas Apple Corps."

Also, there is a newer, and shorter, way to get here in your address bar. Type in www.acdsocial.org and you will be redirected here.

Love the pic of the Coked out cat. Anyway, I'm glad to finally join as well. Good to know you're a Tweeple too. Perhaps I'll Twolo more Mac users and get a whole tree full. Feel free to follow -- I'll auto-follow back. And thanks for the confab in Micro Center today. I'll see what happens when I dump the PPT into Keynote. That might be a good diagnostic test anyway.

It's Sunday. Get some rest.

Cheers,

Susan

Beautiful and easy to use web site. What Adobe product is to be the subject of our next meeting? Keep up the great job as program director. I wonder if Jim Von Ehr who coufounded Altsys is available. It was started in Richardson and bought by Aldus/Macromedia/Adobe. They made Fontographer and Freehand.

John,

After your spending considerable time showing me macbook on Saturday, my wife and I bought one yesterday at Microcenter along with a windows xp OEM.

Getting the macbook up and running was a breeze. Installing windows xp was not. After loading the DOS part of the program and going through loading windows to 100% it simply hung up and showed a sign "disk error". None of the keys had any effect. It does that even after restarting. The osX side works fine.

Can you help me?

Perhaps Microcenter can install it for me or maybe my copy of xp is corrupt. I'm not sure what to do next.

thanks
