Preda to Bergün Switzerland railroad spirals

Spiral tunnels were cut under the mountains so the trains could gain 1600 ft of altitude in 12.6kms between Preda and Bergün. This was done over a hundred years ago in the Alps. My wife and I hiked the trail between the two beautiful villages.
