My first computer (1967) AN/ASN-24(v) Airborne Navigational Computer Set for USAF C-141

This was the first computer I worked on back in 1967/68 at Travis AFB, Fairfield Ca. near (Sacramento). for the Air Force. It was the main navigational computer for the Lockheed C-141 Starlifter military jet transport. It drove the autopilot to fly the airplane with inputs from Doppler radar, compass, Loran, Tacan, fuel sensor,and search radar. You could load in latitude and longitude for up to 10 legs of a flight and drop troops and cargo with it. It was a real time computer with a memory drum that had 59 stars and planets positions on it.
