The Apple Corps

Very simular storm clouds were featured on Reuter's in late June, and on another website as well. Funny thing, one of the authors and myself had taken pictures of these on the same day, in two different cities in March! They may be a new type of cloud.
(Late Sept)Found out via several sources that this is known as Mammatus clouds, and Wikipedia has a blurb on there about them. I'll let you all see why they are called such via Wikipedia!
