I can't wait either. Downloading it now and my excuse for using it is to better help my customers. ; ) Yes, that's it.

Snow leopard Refinements:
Desktop: 35 new desktop pictures
Disk Space: Snow Leopard takes up less than half of the disk space, freeing about 6GB.
Eject: improved reliability of ejecting discs and external drives
Expose: It’s been integrated into the Dock for more convenient, organized viewing. Open windows are unshuffled and displayed in a clean grid.
File sharing: more energy efficient sharing of files between computers or other devices; You no longer have to leave your computer running when it’s sharing files; you can now put it in sleep mode.
Finder: It’s more responsive with quicker performance. The finder includes new features, such as customizable Spotlight search options and an enhanced icon view.
Installation: A streamlined process makes installation up to 45 percent faster
PDFs: simpler, more accurate text selection on PDFs
Power: Waking up from sleep mode is twice as fast, joining a wireless network is up to 55 percent faster and shutting down is up to 75 percent faster.
Printers: Snow leopard regularly checks for the latest driver. And when you plug in a printer, it’ll download the latest driver over the internet.
Recycle bin: Restored items from the recycle bin are now placed in their original location.
Quicktime: Snow Leopard’s Quicktime X includes a new player with a cleaner interface and easier uploads to YouTube and MobileMe. Media playback and live streaming is more efficient and color accuracy is improved.
Safari: With Snow Leopard, Safari 4 delivers up to 50 percent faster JavaScript performance. It’s also more resistant to crashes.
Services: more streamlined, simplified and helpful; The menu now shows you only relevant services for the application you’re using, and access is much simpler.
Stacks: These are now scrollable, making navigation through folders in a stack easier. Also, stacks no longer have to be in the dock to be viewed this way.
Time Machine: With Snow Leopard, Time Machine is up to 50 percent faster and the time it takes to complete your initial backup to Time Capsule is now less.
Timezones: Using Core Location technology, Snow Leopard automatically updates the current timezone when detected through local Wi-Fi hotspots.

I guess I couldn't wait. I purchased some dual layer dvds and burned Snow Leopard on one. Just installed build 10A432. I'm loving it. Details later.

You may be correct.

I just don't think this will be the real deal. It's not consistent with what Apple does and I think we will see the traditional big bold X comes September.

I hear on the Apple-vine a certain Micro Electronics store on Spring Valley will have a party for launch. Just a rumor though. :)

I think I will stand in line at Northpark on open day. It's fun and you might get to meet Cali Lewis. Last time I was in line right next to her!
