If they are up to something, no one can find it. :) We'll now have to wait for September 9th. Will the "One more thing" be a tablet or maybe Beatles on iTunes? I'll start a poll here later.

You'll have to pay the higher price to break your 2G contract if its under 2 years and pay the full price for the new 3Gs (up to $599 for 32Gig). So some 2G people are rather unhappy about the cost. I'm sure it has to do with the business plan for the AT&T kickback to Apple for when the 2G came out. But the 600 MHz processor is a nice improvement over the old 400 MHz. Don't expect to see any chance at Verizon until current AT&T/Apple contract is up in 2011. The only way around this is if Apple comes up with a new product that might be offered on other platforms. But since it doesn't make sense to move to CDMA from GSM, it is unlikely Apple will ever seriously look at Verizon until 4G is widespread. At least 4G is rolling out in some areas starting this Summer (August for AT&T).

Had the chance to play with my brother's new 3GS this last weekend. Man is it faster than my 1st gen iPhone. I'd really like to sell my 2G on ebay. These things are going for upwards of $200 in good condition. I'm one of those still under the ATT 2y contract and don't relish signing up for another two years just to get the new phone. Where's Verizon?

Definitely grabbing 3.0 for my original version iPhone, but I think I may just be ready to upgrade to 3G with one of those new 's' versions...!

Love the new Safari 4! Glad they moved tabs back down. Would like the status blue bar back though.
