Howdy! I just got Aperture recently and I am wondering if there are any good tutorials you all recommend for getting used to Aperture and using it like a pro?
Lynda.com is the one I suggest. Derrick Story has 5.75 hours of on line video training in Aperture 2 Essential Training. This was released in July 2008 and I have enjoyed taking it. Nerd Books has Apple Pro Training Series: Aperture 2, with DVD
by Long, Ben / Harrington, Richard / Luna, Orlando. this lists for 54.99 and is available for $30.79 +tax in Richardson. I have it as well. Lynda also has the training on DVD for $99.95. I enjoy video and audio more than reading when it comes to software training. The Apple book can get you certified in Aperture. I have been using it since day one. Happy to know that you have it John.
Nerdbooks.com is on line and they are on Firman Drive in Richardson. Have to go in thru the side door and check yourself out with an iMac. Remarkable place and prices. I have spent hundreds there.
Here's another resource on Aperture: Aperture Users Network http://www.apertureprofessional.com/
It does have an annual fee however there is a worthwhile benefit: Here goes the blurb.
