I have to agree. I love Canon lenses and they make great cameras. However, I may be a little biased since that's all my Dad would use and (like father like son) that's all I want to use now.

Hey John,
I just like the results of what I am getting. I try to only shoot RAW and ever since Scott Kelby came out with his books on shooting with digital cameras I have been a disciple of his. Tell me how you use Aperture?
I started using Canon cameras in the Air Force in Thailand in 1969 when I purchased an FTQL the best 35 mm Canon at the time. Since then I have owned six Canons. A few years ago I started buying the Canon Pro lenses, the L series and that is the strong point. They allow me freedom with image stabilization and auto focus if I choose to use it. Nikon makes excellent cameras and lenses as well. One could argue that Leica may have the best lenses-Leitz but they are rather expensive. Hasselblad and Leica are tops in my book. i just can't afford either. Once you choose a system, Nikon or Canon, in this case, it is usually cheaper to stick with it rather than switching.
