iTunes Minor Mystery

I have just purchased/downloaded a classical recording [an album] with two symphonies on it. They ended up, in my iTunes, in the reverse order. That is 4th movement, then 3d movement and so on. I had to shift them around in the playlist to get them in the correct order. Why did that download/record that way?

The only thing I can think of is that the download files were sent to you out of order. I think it depends on how the company that has their music on iTunes sets it up.
