I was told by a "manufacturing company" of the mouse, that most stores would not have it for about a week and a half. The first we would see of it is what is bundled with the new iMacs.

Me, you ask!? I pretend to work by having lots of windows open at the same time and using Expose to switch back and forth between them. As far as my boss knows, I'm multitasking. :)
